Pokémon TCG: 30th Celebration is the official English expansion name for the 2026 anniversary release. Its announced worldwide launch was 16 September 2026, with additional products following later in the year.
For Australian collectors, the useful next step is choosing the exact product and edition. A release date is separate from a retailer’s allocation, dispatch date or current stock.
When does 30th Celebration release in Australia?
The worldwide launch announcement includes Australia. Pokémon’s official 30th Celebration announcement confirms 16 September; the official product showcase lists later product windows.
The table below uses the months in the English-language showcase, checked on 17 September 2026. These are manufacturer release windows, not promises of Australian retail stock or GemSlab shipping dates. Confirm the date on the specific retailer’s listing before ordering a later release.

Which format suits your collection?
- Choose by included extras: an ETB makes sense when you also want its promo and accessories. Check the edition before comparing two ETB prices.
- Compare the cost of packs: divide the delivered AUD price by the number of regular expansion packs. For a Bundle, divide by 6; for a standard ETB, divide by 9. Compare the same language and set, and value the extras separately.
- Check Day or Night: the UPC editions have different featured promos. Pick the edition you want rather than assuming all UPC listings are identical. Do not count its separate Classic Collection pack as an ordinary pack when comparing costs.
- Choose singles for a specific card: if your goal is one illustration, compare that card’s actual asking price and condition with your opening budget. Buying packs does not guarantee that card.
A Booster Bundle, a booster box, a single pack and a sealed case are different units. Check the full listing title and contents instead of comparing the word “box” alone.

Keep separate records for the main expansion, Classic Collection cards and product promos. When comparing checklists, check whether their totals include variants and promos; different counting rules can produce different totals.
- Record the card name and printed card number.
- Match the card language and exact set or subset.
- Check for an edition stamp or other variant shown in the listing photos.
- For raw cards, compare condition; for graded cards, compare the grading company, grade and certification shown on the slab.

No. Celebrations is the English 25th anniversary expansion from 2021. 30th Celebration is the 2026 anniversary expansion. Use the complete set name and printed card number to distinguish listings.
Does every 30th Celebration product release on the same day?
No. The expansion launch and the release windows for later products differ. Check the product table and linked official showcase, then confirm your retailer’s actual dispatch date.
Is a Pokémon Center ETB the same as the standard ETB?
No. The Pokémon Center edition has a different pack and promo configuration. Match the edition named on the box and listing before comparing prices.
